There are not many tools for installing resilient vinyl plank flooring. You need floor leveling compound if the ground is not level. A mop, broom and vacuum. You must have a knife, a ruler and a carpenter for cutting and measuring boards. The last tool that is needed is a floor roller.
Installing resilient vinyl plank flooring begins by placing a line of tables against the longest wall and straight into the room. First do a dry fit, without adhesive or remove the paper support. If you need to cut any planks for an adjustment, use carpenter’s square and a knife, marking a line on the back of the table, and then breaking in two. If you are satisfied with the setting, start by placing the corner plank in place, apply the adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Press down firmly where two tables are joined. Continue with the next row, making sure stagger joints of the previous row. Once all rows are complete, roll the floor with a roller to help the firmly adhesive bonding.
